Windmill Animal Farm was first opened to the public in 1992 and offers visitors the chance to experience the every day running of an actual working farm while still having the chance to watch, feed and touch the animals.
As well as these beautiful and unusual animals to see, the farm has three marvelous children’s play areas. The indoor play barn, one of the largest in the North West, the new outdoor play area by the main farm complex and the second new outdoor play area by Lake View, which can be reached by our beautiful miniature train that crosses the farm.
The farm is open every day from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. seven days a week from Easter until the end of October.
The farm is then open on weekends and school holidays from the end of October until the end of December.
